What is Differential Thrust?
Differential thrust is essentially where each motor on your aircraft can be driven with a different throttle output setting. A multirotor (or drone as the cool kids call them) is essentially an aircraft that has motors capable of being independently driven by a flight controller. Having specialised in data collection and analytics through drone technology for the purposes of insurance, construction and general property management. HP had recently announced the new HP Metal Jet at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2018. HP Metal Jet is a manufacturing technology that will allow mass production of metal parts which is significantly faster and cheaper to make than other 3D printing methods. In a new research project, called Cyber-Physical Macro Material, conducted by the University of Stuttgart, researchers have created what is known as a ‘live’ shapeshifting canopy which uses drones to keep people in the shade. As the sun moves through the sky, the drones ‘actively rebuild itself’ by changing its configuration to constantly ensure that it is providing adequate shade.
